Online Learning
There are a range of online tools that are used in school and can be accessed from home to assist your child in their learning. Below are a number of links to websites and learning tools. They are sorted into different learning areas, however, some cover more than one learning area.
In some cases students will need to have an account set up by their teacher first. If this is a tool that is normally used in the classroom they will already have an account. If not, contact the teacher via email.
Some websites allow sign in using google. All of our students have a google account. For Years 1 - 4, the teacher will share this with you. If your child has forgotten their details, please contact the classroom teacher who will be able to assist. Websites that require a login usually track or record progress, unlike websites that don't require a login.
Some websites also have parent access so that you can set tasks for your child.
Many of these sites are free to use during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Teachers will communicate with you via Seesaw regarding the websites that are suitable for your child. Please check seesaw regularly
For work that is more specific to your child, Google Classroom will be used. The Senior students already use Google Classroom and will be able to access that now. The Year 1 - 4 students are learning how to do this now. Here is a video on how to use Google Classroom.
